She has managed to find herself a job.  It’s a new beginning for Lata, and she feels herself to be more confident after what all had happened in her past.  We asked Namrata Thapa, how she feels her character is shaping, she says, “Lata earlier was seen as submissive and reserved.  Keeping her values intact, Lata now will be seen working to support her family.  It’s a huge step for Lata, as in our society a divorcee is looked down upon in smaller cities, metros are better. Leave alone society, many a times women of the same house also demotivate, which will be seen in Lata's case. Through the show we are trying to send a message that life should be led normally even after divorce and it should not consider it as a stigma.  ” With the job, a ray of hope has entered the otherwise simple and mundane life of Lata. The Story of Don’t Worry Chachu revolves around a Joint family, in which interesting happenings occur daily due to Chintan Desai’s nature. Popatlal Desai (Anang Desai) is the patriarch of Desai family and is a self made man. He came to Bombay with five rupees and through his determination & perseverance he became a rich man. He along with his three sons & their families stays in Juhu. Chintan (Asif Sheikh) is the middle son of the family and has taken the responsibility of his family. Chintan as his name suggests is always worried. He is a kind hearted person who is always concerned about his people so much so that his concern has now turned into a constant worry. Chintan is over concerned but, his wife Bhavana is quite opposite to him. Popular standup comedian Sugandha Mishra has been roped into play Bhavna’s role opposite Asif Sheikh. The show is based on how the entire family gets caught in hilarious situations due to his over concerned nature.

How will Date Trap be different this time?
Date Trap is a show where a friend arranges the worst date for his friend and plats all kinds of pranks on him. Since people have got familiar with the concept, we have changed the trapping system. But what remains same is the fun element.
How is Beg Borrow Steal different from Date Trap?
Beg Borrow Steal is very close to my heart. It is a travel show and I love travelling. Date trap is different. The experiences at Beg Borrow Steal are real and love. Both the shows don’t have a script to be followed.
What are the other shows that you are doing?
I am hosting Bindass Buddies which is a show for and about the college freshers. We tell them the mantras of college life, cheap shopping places ear their college, bunking tips and the hangout places. The other is Aloo Chat where we meet the actors and directors of a film which is about to release.
Why have you only been associated with UTV Bindass?
Meri shaadi ho gayi hai Bindass se. Actually, I am in a contract with the channel. Also, I love working with them. We are all like- minded people and it is always easy to work with people at the same.
How did anchoring happen?
During and after college I worked with some event companies and used to anchor live. At one such event a Bindass executive saw me asked me to audition and rest as they say is history.
Don’t you want to enter acting?
I am a bad actor. But I can talk a lot that is the reason I decided to take a job where my talking skills are utilized.
How do u manage your work and personal life?
I do not plan my day. I take every day as it comes and enjoy it to the fullest.

Rajshri Production’s show Yahaaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli has a new addition to their on the set family. Natasha Sharma, who made an entry as Vasundhara on the show, portrays a role of spirit who has been wronged by the Thakur family. Happy with her selection of an offbeat role in her career, she says, “From the start I was clear that I would pick up roles which would challenge me as an actor. And “Vasundhara” is a challenging role. It’s a strong character.” To get the eerie feel, the look has been given treatment with lighting and blower affects. Natasha adds, “As a spirit, I had to work on the voice modulation.

Also, I have to look at one direction at a time and can’t keep roving my eye, it is a little difficult with the blower, but these little things add to the feel of the character. Also I waiting for an interesting opportunity to work with Rajshri Productions and they exactly gave me that. ” Vasundhara’s soul has come back for revenge as she was deprived of her love and her baby by the Thakur family. After years of silence, she has finally got a chance to speak up and wants to take a stand for all the wrongs that happened to her. Abha who was unaware of the injustice done with Vasundhara, is in a dilemma as she does not want any harm to be done to her unborn child. The fate will unfold for Abha and her family towards the end of her pregnancy. Finally we asked Natasha if she personally believed in spirits, “I believe if good exist so does the bad and they have reasons to be that way. Also with this character I want to convey that spirits are not always scary!”
