Kalawati’s look, makeup and attitude are highly appreciated by the audience. Aashka does her own makeup and the creative team has given her the liberty to experiment with her looks through the medium of makeup and hairstyling. Aashka says, “Make up is like painting! You evolve each day when you do makeup for yourself. I was lucky that I got to learn the art from Shri. Pandhari Juker, who is a renowned makeup artist in the country. With my character Kalawati, a particular look was required and I guess I  have been successful in achieving that as the audience have loved the look.” Co actor Sumit Kaul, who lately has had many scenes with Aashka adds, “She had to be bold, loud and at the same time she had to be elegant. Make Up Kit For Teenagers: Bare Essentials
