Force’s forceful wedding! Watch Force Trailer starring John Abraham and Genelia D’Souza

FORCE, starring John Abraham and Genelia D’Souza and directed by Nishikanth Kamat has run into a controversy like no other film till date. Read on to know what the controversy is all about.
StarBuzz Weekly, Toronto-Jul 14, 2011 – FORCE, a film that has Bollywood actors John Abraham and Genelia D’Souza in its lead roles has run into unique trouble. John and Genelia were supposed to get married in one of the scenes. The priest, Bhagwat Guruji, who conducted the wedding ceremony, was not a junior artiste but a priest for real, who now claims that John and Genelia are man and wife in real life! The priest said that he read the actual wedding mantras unaware of the fact that the cameras were rolling. The issue cropped up when the priest came to know of Genelia D’Souza’s wedding plans to Riteish Deshmukh and insisted that the couple couldn't get married as Genelia is already married to John as everything was done from wearing a mangalsutra, to exchanging garlands and taking the saat pheras!

Bhagwat Guruji has now resorted to blackmailing Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the producer of the film for monetary compensation. Says a source close to the director-producer, "The pandit wanted monetary compensation to not raise an alarm over the supposed sampurn shaadi (complete marriage) when it had been shot. At that time Vipul had brushed off the pandit's demands. Now when he read about Genelia's purported wedding with Riteish Deshmukh he is looking at a hefty pay-off to not bring up the legal validity and moral sanctity of the filmed wedding."

Force is the remake of the Tamil hit film, ‘Kaakha Kaakha’ in which John Abraham plays a tough, handsome and stylish cop. Apart from John Abraham and genelia D’Souza, the film also stars, Mohnish Bahl, Ashish Vidyarthi and Raj Babbar. Music has been composed by Harris Jayaraj.
